$69 per person, inclusive.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday – Noon
Includes local guide, food samples, some non-alcoholic beverages, taxes, restaurant gratuities, and bike rental. This tour is similar to a progressive meal.
Downtown Beaufort, NC, Historic District and waterfront.
The North Carolina Oyster Tour is limited to a maximum of eight (8) participants, allowing for
a more intimate and manageable group that offers you maximum enjoyment.
We can do a private tour with young adults under 21 years old. Call for details!

The oysters come wrapped in authentic fish net from the original Net House in Beaufort. Known locally as the Seine House, the nets were made in Beaufort. So, participants get to take home a small piece of Beaufort’s maritime history.
So many oysters. So little time. Aww shucks!
On the North Carolina Oyster Tour, you'll enjoy delicious samplings where the main dish is fresh local oysters! Your guide will share stories about Beaufort’s history, as you see the many ways that oysters are prepared. You’ll also receive recipes paired with oils and vinegar to create their own oyster dishes at home.
Learn about Cedar Island Select Oysters and Carolina Mariculture Co., a local North Carolina oyster farm. Click here. At the end of the tour, each couple will receive one dozen Cedar Island Select Oysters packed for travel from Fishtowne Seafood in Beaufort. Single participants receive one-half dozen oysters. Since it's inception in 2004, Fishtowne has focused on buying local seafood harvested by local fishermen.
